We had an awesome experience last night @ J.C. Williams Amvets Post 607 as we recognized National Buffalo Soldiers Day with the Buffalo Soldier members from Newnan, GA, of AMVETS Post 910 while also recognizing the contribution of Cathay Williams, the only female Buffalo Soldier (who disguised herself as a man to serve) ….. SHOUT OUT to our Amvets family, friends and our community for coming out to honor this legacy.. COLOSSAL THANKS to EVERYONE that contributed to preparing the food…EVERYTHING was EXCELLENT!
